Harris Development we realize that each transaction is a unique experience and is worth of the same service and dedication. We have created a great way to make sure your home reflects your personality and style.
With our new showroom we will assist you with your selections, you will not have to spend your weekends or lunch hours traveling from lighting showrooms to brick yards in order for your dream of homeownership to become a reality. Here you will have the opportunity to create the home of your dreams as your personally choose from all of the exciting options.
The Design Center is housed on the 3rd floor of our company headquarters, located downtown at 115 21st Street North across from John’s Diner.
Below are some suggestions to make your appointment more productive:
* Preview the models and other spec homes in the community. This will familiarize you with the flow and traffic patterns. They will also display both standard and/or upgrade features.
* Study the diagram of your floor plan. You may wish to alter the floor coverings that come standard.
* Have a color scheme or style in mind. It may help to bring items from your home to help the decorator make sure she has a fell for your taste.
* On pre-existing homes, find out from your agent on what design options are available based on status of home.
* Have in mind items you may want to get pricing on upgrading. Our most popular items to think about are flooring (ie hardwoods and tile upgrades), kitchen backsplash, countertops (ie granite), window treatment (ie faux wood blinds), custom closets, and home audio/visual items. These are just to name a few. Please understand that not all will be pre-priced and your consultant may need to submit a price request for more specific price details. Rest assured that the price will be obtained in a timely manner.
* Last but not least, have a budget in mind. If you are planning to finance your options, you may want to talk to agent and lender to determine how much can be included in your loan. If you decide to upgrade, you must plan to finance them or pay cash at decorator appointment. Deposits are required. Please check with your agent or decorator for your specific deposit requirements on upgraded options.
